Willem Steelink Paintings

Born on May 5, 1856, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Steelink was the son of Willem Steelink Sr., who was also an engraver. The younger Steelink developed an early interest in art, likely influenced by his father's profession.

Steelink received his formal art education at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam, where he honed his skills in both painting and engraving.
