Sanchez-Perrier studied at the School of Fine Arts in Seville as well as the School of Fine Arts in Madrid. In his early years, he was influenced by the works of Martin Rico and Jose Jimenez Aranda.

During his career, Sanchez-Perrier became part of the Andalusian school of painting, highly recognized for its realistic portrayal of the local landscape and life. He painted in a detailed and meticulous manner, focusing on the effects of light and reflection, which gave his paintings a distinctive luminosity.

Sanchez-Perrier traveled extensively, which influenced his artistic style.
