Efraim Menasze Seidenbeutel and his twin brother, Menasze Seidenbeutel, were born in 1903 in Warsaw, Poland. They were part of a Jewish family, in a period that was both culturally vibrant and politically turbulent for the Jewish community in Poland. From a young age, both Efraim and his brother showed a profound interest in art, which was nurtured and developed despite the difficult circumstances they faced as Jews in Poland during the interwar period.
