Alfred Concanen was a 19th-century British illustrator and lithographer, best known for his work as a creator of sheet music covers. Born in 1835, Concanen’s career flourished during the Victorian era, a period that witnessed the rapid expansion of popular entertainment and the music publishing industry in Britain.
