The Stefaneschi Triptych is a three-paneled altarpiece, or triptych, painted by the Italian artist Giotto di Bondone and his workshop. Commissioned by Cardinal Giacomo Gaetani Stefaneschi around 1320, it was intended for the high altar of the Old St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
